Lipid Profile

A lipid profile is a series of blood tests used to assess the levels of certain lipids or fats in the blood. The lipid profile can help determine if a person eats a healthy, balanced diet and whether they are at risk of developing heart conditions. In the case of high cholesterol, treatment programs and dietary adjustments might be recommended to avoid consequences. The lipid profile is a routine health test that individuals should have every 3 to 6 months, or as directed by their doctor.
